Weekly Wildlife Tours

 

Uprise Conservation in partnership with Big Muddy Adventures runs two weekly wildlife and birding tours by kayak spring through fall. 

Wildlife Kayak Tour Simpson Lake

 

Ages 12 and up, every Sunday at 9am

Wildlife Kayak Tour Forest Park

 

Ages 10 and up, every Saturday at 9am

Castlewood - Riparian Forest Spring Wildflowers and Amphibians

 

Nature Tour Details:

  • Date: Sunday, May 4th, 2025

  • Time: please plan to arrive a few minutes prior to your tour time!

    • Option 1 - 11:00 am - 12:30 pm

    • Option 2 - 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm

  • Meeting Location:  Lower Parking Lot Next to the Bridge 

  • Distance: 1–2 miles on relatively flat terrain

  • What to Bring: Water, Bug Spray 

  • What to Wear: Weather-appropriate clothing and comfortable hiking shoes

  • Participants under 18 years must be accompanied by an adult

  • Cost: Free
